First Impressions Program Public Entry and Lobby - US Federal Building

HGA developed the preliminary design and cost planning to secure funding for the renovation of public lobby space, associated signage and exterior plaza/entry development for the Federal Building in Bemidji, Minnesota. The project consists of 700 square feet of public lobby space and a 1200 square feet exterior plaza. The project will create a new public entry that is open and welcoming, while maintaining a sense of pride and integrity within. The design and materials are modern, clean, simple and fitting of the context. Improved signage and wayfinding systems are provided as well as display areas, benches, work counters and new lighting.
