BloodCenter of Wisconsin, Blood Research Institute Expansion

The Blood Research Institute is a state-of-the-art research facility located on the campus of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center. Blood Research Institute scientists continue a tradition of scientific discovery that began with the inception of the Blood Center of Wisconsin in 1947. The first phase of this project includes a lab and office expansion of approximately 35,000 square-feet, and the remodeling of the existing Blood Donor Center and conferencing area. Future phases could include a laboratory expansion and an animal vivarium.
