Columbus State University, Performing and Studio Arts Campus
Columbus, GeorgiaColumbus State University's Fine and Performing Arts program has long been recognized as one of the region's premier cultural assets.
Aimed to revitalize downtown Columbus and at the same time provide new and expanded space for the arts, this project consists of a new theatre building and renovation of a combination of two existing historic buildings on a contiguous downtown block for Art and Dance.
CSU's nationally accredited art program provides a gallery, exhibition and teaching space that now allows for the doubling of current majors. The Theatre Department has a new stage and ancillary features (rehearsal facilities, costume shop, property shop, etc.) essential to a viable university- level theatre program.
