Fairview Maple Grove Medical Center

This138,605-square-foot, three-story ambulatory-care facility, surrounded by wetlands and ponds, includes two rectangular brick volumes flanking a central spine. With light-filled atriums, expanses of aluminum-and-glass curtain walls and logical interior way-finding cues, the building maximizes interaction between physicians and staff, streamlines healthcare delivery processes for better patient care, and reinforces visual connections between inside and outside. Hospitality-inspired interior finishes integrate natural stone, stained walnut and maple woods, wood ceiling tiles, porcelain tile, and comfortable yet durable furnishings.
