Maple Grove, MinnesotaThe Pediatrics Center is part of an overall master plan by HGA to address the healthcare needs in the fast-growing suburb of Maple Grove. The master plan outlines presents and long-term needs through the new construction of a hospital, primary and specialty care for children and adults, leading-edge diagnostic services, an outpatient surgical center, cancer services, and community-based urgent care/ emergency services.
Fairview's primary goals are to provide residents with a seamless and accessible continuum of care, remain flexible for growth, and accommodate potential healthcare partnerships. The plan respects the natural features of the 26-acre site and further reinforces amenities serving both the campus and broader community.
Built on an open field, the Pediatrics Center incorporates the colors, textures and wood species of the surrounding prairie, as well as the nearby Elm Creek. The design presents a high-tech yet comfortable and approachable clinic, such as the playful entry that welcomes the community's many young families. The cancer center on the lower level embraces prairie views and includes soothing colors and wood tones.
