General Mills World Headquarters

Golden Valley, Minnesota

HGA has partnered with General Mills on a variety of projects and services over the past 25 years, providing over 300,000 GSF of renovated space and over 700,000 GSF of new construction including the renovation of their existing Bell Tower interior. When General Mills began to consider the acquisition of Pillsbury they hired HGA to master plan their facility needs. The resulting plan provides them with over 500,000 GSF of new space carefully integrated into their existing campus. Recently occupied, the design addresses their need for flexible office space for new or expanded departments with the right adjacencies to existing groups. In addition, all of the amenities provided to employees have been upgraded to align with General Mills' culture and organized into a new building located at the physical center of campus. The work environment has been designed to provide a variety of opportunities for informal interaction. The integration of interior architecture and environmental graphics communicates the spirit of the company and their core values.

LEED EB Certified.
