Holy Spirit Catholic Church

A new parish, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, was formed in Northwest Rochester in response to projected growth in the area. The Church is located in a rural context, surrounded by farmland and a future housing development on a 20-acre site. The masterplan calls for a worship space seating 900, gathering space, parish administrative offices, a gymnasium/cafeteria and a parish school for grades K-6. The entire masterplan is for 55,000 sf. Phase I consisted of a worship space with seating up to 500, interim parish offices, a chapel and storage room, gathering space and classrooms for a K-3 parish school. The construction cost for Phase I was $2,700,000 and included 31,000 sf.
