House of Harley-Davidson

HGA took disparate buildings and slipped in an addition to create a unified whole in this exterior/interior renovation. New siding and masonry base tie the existing structures together, while porch/awning elements use a similar vocabulary to reinforce this knitting. Using the image of the House of Harley-Davidson's logo, the new porch welcomes visitors along the western facade. The three different floor levels in four different buildings create a spatially interesting interior where cyclists are not just consumers-but enthusiasts-gathered in fellowship.
