Microgistix

Located in Minneapolis's warehouse district, Chumbo's program occupies 27,000 square feet in a restored historic building. The design solution includes the careful insertion of such key functions as conference rooms, break room, reception and a few private offices as freestanding elements within the large spaces of the 100-year-old structure. This design encourages collaboration as well as flexibility-important criteria for a young, creative technology business. The complementary blend of old and new, with the incorporation of many historical artifacts into the design, successfully reflect the image of an innovative, leading-edge technology business and its sensitivity to the building’s historic character.
