Milwaukee Public Museum Humphrey IMAX Dome Theater

The 275-seat Humphrey IMAX Dome Theater is a feature element of the first major expansion of the Milwaukee Public Museum in over 30 years. A 44-foot high skylit atrium connects the theater with the visitor services concourse, and a 43-foot long dinosaur skeleton is suspended from the ceiling of the atrium. Entry into the theater is through a gate-like portal, and takes visitors past the projection room, where the projection equipment is visible through a wall of structural glass.
