Challenge Provide pre-design planning services to identify alternatives that will improve efficiency of production, increase manufacturing capacity, provide greater flexibility, upgrade public image and improve the working environment. Solution HGA's industrial engineering team developed recommendations, based on studies of mobile collections and blood component manufacturing operations, focused on improving throughput velocity, production capacity and inventory control. With these recommendations as a foundation, our cross-functional team of architects and building engineers created a new building program and planning concepts that explore on-site and new development opportunities.
