Ridgeview Medical Center

Ridgeview Medical Center (RMC) in Waconia, Minnesota, selected HGA to complete a campus master plan and assist them in its long-term implementation. RMC is an independent, community-owned facility that is the flagship of the Ridgeview Health System, which serves rural Carver County and southwest metropolitan Hennepin County. Situated on a ridge overlooking MN Hwy 5, the RMC campus is strategically located for easy access to its neighboring communities, and is the entryway to the city of Waconia.
The goals of the RMC campus master plan were to:

• Improve departmental relationships and flow within the existing facility


• Integrate outpatient services and clinics onto the campus to streamline both customer service and facility operations


• Develop a multi-use campus that incorporates retail, civic, and commercial functions


• Serve as a gateway to the community and as the flagship campus for the growing Ridgeview Health System


• Develop a branding image for the Ridgeview Campus
