Six Locations Throughout North America,In October 2003, The Schwan Food Company chose HGA to perform a site feasibility study for an existing property in Plymouth, Minnesota. Pleased with the study and our analysis of existing facilities, Schwan's hired HGA to design the renovation and adaptation for their first Customer Operations Center (COC). HGA's Industrial Engineering department evaluated material handling processes, system design and building layouts to develop and facilitate efficient and flexible operations.
Following those projects, HGA developed a prototype for COCs, which led to the development of four more COCs throughout the country. HGA has gone beyond standard architecture and engineering services to develop Facility Operations Performance and Procedures Manuals, and we are currently leading the training of Schwan's staff at the most recently completed Customer Operations Center.
