HGA's design combines the large physician group practice with a 73-bed community hospital, enabling potential savings of $1 million per year. With its opening in 2004, this fully-integrated campus has established Saint Mary's as a regional medical center. Saint Mary's provides north central Wisconsin's residents with up-to-date technology and comprehensive health care in a soothing atmosphere with the look of a north woods lodge. The well-defined Clinic, Emergency Department and Patient Care Unit wings are linked by a two-story connecting spine that contains shared Diagnostic, Treatment and Surgery services, making the entire facility easy to navigate for staff, patients and visitors alike.
