Sutter Health, Roseville Medical Center Emergency Department
Roseville, CaliforniaSutter Roseville Medical Center commissioned HGA to design the renovation and expansion of their Emergency Department (ED). Being the only Level II Trauma Center in a seven county area, the ED was in desperate need of more space and updated facilities to meet the needs of the rapidly growing population. Completed in October 2005, the ED expansion totals 13,300 square feet, with an additional 8,200 square feet of renovated space. HGA's design accommodates 31 treatment bays and 3 triage beds, allowing Sutter Roseville to serve up to 180 emergent patients per day. A dedicated radiology room allows the ED to expedite imaging. HGA's design also supports a sophisticated patient tracking system to enhance patient security and to ensure accuracy of care.
