Sutter Health, Roseville Medical Center Well Baby Nursery
Roseville, CaliforniaSince opening in 1997, Sutter Health Roseville has experienced increase patient demand due to tremendous population growth in the area, including increased demand for the Family Birthing Center. The area's birthrate has increased 37 percent over the past five years. Plans are underway to expand the Family Birthing Center to accommodate more than 3,000 births annually. HGA provided architectural services to the new Level I Well Baby Nursery, located on the first level within the existing southern courtyard of the Bed Tower. It includes approximately 2,000 square feet of infill construction, with a new courtyard deck for the second-level Med/Surgery patients. The Nursery includes 32 bassinets, as well as associated support space.
