Theda Clark Medical Center Emergency Department
Neenah, WisconsinThe Emergency Department (ED) at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, Wisconsin, is the Fox Valley area's only Level II Trauma Center. HGA designed two state-of-the-art trauma rooms that accommodate digital X-ray equipment, a portable ultrasound, rapid infusers/fluid warmers, ventilators and surgical lights for in-room emergency procedures. Two nurse triage areas, five acute care treatment rooms, a general exam room, a secure treatment room, an orthopedic room, a dedicated OB/GYN room, and an ear, nose and throat treatment room round out this new 17,785-square-foot Emergency Department. Patient comfort and convenience remained a top priority throughout the design process. In addition to providing the facilities to handle a wide range of patient needs, HGA's design enables computerized medical records with in-room terminals and in-room registration capabilities to reduce waiting times and shorten ED stays. Fully-integrated care and monitoring equipment and breakaway doors provide the flexibility for ED staff to tackle any case quickly and efficiently.
