Theda Clark Medical Center Women's and Children's Care
Neenah, WisconsinChildren's Hospital of Wisconsin (CHW) partnered with Thedacare at Theda Clark Medical Center (TCMC) to develop a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Services for the Fox Valley area. The partners commissioned HGA to plan and design the new four-story addition to TCMC. Children's Hospital occupies the third and fourth floors of the addition, creating a hospital within a hospital. The third floor houses the NICU, which provides 22 beds, including two isolation rooms. HGA's design also provides private parenting rooms, family waiting and a networking room with computer. The NICU has a direct link to Women's Services located on the third floor of the existing hospital. The fourth floor houses the Pediatric Department, which has 20 pediatric beds, including five private patient rooms, seven semi-private rooms and one isolation room.
