Minneapolis, MinnesotaIn contrast to the adjacent historic Williams Arena, the Sports Pavilion presents a fresh face indicative of evolving traditions. The main entrance of the facility was moved to the west side of the building to create a new expression for the entrance lobby. The performance court can be enlarged by retracting pop-up seats to allow two full basketball courts, up to three volleyball courts or an ideal gymnastics performance area. Boosters and special guests of the athletic program can be hosted in an upper level club room, which overlooks center court. A state-of-the-art team room, which can be divided for multiple functions, is located at courtside between the coaches' locker spaces and basketball, gymnastics locker areas.
