Whitewater, WisconsinThe goal of this project was to correct deficiencies in the existing facility while expanding opportunities and needed space for instruction, intramurals/recreation and intercollegiate athletics, as well as responding to Title IX requirements. The three components of this project include: a fieldhouse addition with a running track and playing courts; a two-story addition housing a weight room, classrooms, racquetball courts, training rooms, administrative offices and support functions; and renovation in the existing building to provide parity of facilities for men's and women's sports. The addition provides new upper level spectator entry to the north with a lobby for the existing basketball gymnasium, and enhanced student entrance on the lower level to the south.
