University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Communication Arts Building
Kenosha, WisconsinThe $34 million project will house the university's expanding music, theater and visual arts programs. The project includes 108,000 square feet of remodeled space in three interconnected buildings to include the Communication Arts building, Molinaro Hall School of Modern Industry, and Wyllie Hall, plus a 45,000-square-foot addition. The new construction and renovation will reflect the existing architectural character of the campus, comprises well-designed modernist structures with exposed concrete, matching brick face, and clear bronze-tinted windows. Estimated completion is fall 2008.
