HGA Architects and Engineers Hires Director of Interior Architecture and Design
Minneapolis, MN - Debra Barnes has joined the Minneapolis, Minnesota office of HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA), a full-service interior design, architecture, engineering and planning firm, as Associate Vice President and their director of Interior Architecture and Design.
Barnes joins the firm with over 18 years of experience. Most recently she spent the last 4 years with Trammell Crow Company where she worked on the UnitedHealth Group account. Prior to this, she spent 10 years with Carlson Hospitality Worldwide. Debbi began her career in Minneapolis at architecture and interior design firms including the Architectural Alliance and Design Syndicate. Throughout her career, she has concentrated on interior design and project management, marrying the philosophy of good design with the criteria needed for comfortable, productive and inviting environments that stand the test of time. At HGA, Barnes and her team will work with clients in corporate, healthcare, the arts, community, education and mixed use.
"We understand the balance between great design and the need for functional interiors," said Barnes. "Our goal is to make the process as satisfying as the results."
Barnes received her Batchelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota and is a professional member of International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
