Esther Gonzalez-Parber Promoted to Associate of HGA Architects and Engineers
San Francisco, CA - HGA Architects and Engineers' (HGA) San Francisco office has promoted Esther Gonzalez-Parber to associate. She has more than 15 years of experience as a designer and project manager in California.
As a project manager with HGA, Gonzalez-Parber specializes in higher education and healthcare projects. In this role, she manages the design team; handles communication between the owner, architects, regulatory agencies, engineers and consultants; and keeps the project on time and on budget.
Recently, Gonzalez-Parber served as project manager for the design of a new student services center at Cabrillo Community College in Aptos, Calif., which functions as the campus' "front door" while consolidating all the student services departments into one building. She was also involved in the campus' master plan for accessibility, based on standards set by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Gonzalez-Parber's additional project experience includes managing the design of a performing arts building at Napa Valley College; an emergency department expansion and a seismic renovation at the University of California, San Francisco; and a five-story addition to Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, Calif.
Gonzalez-Parber holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
