HGA Architects and Engineers Forms Science and Technology Practice Group
Minneapolis, MN - After decades of designing state-of-the art clean rooms, laboratories and other technology facilities, HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA) is formally launching a new Science and Technology practice group. The group, led by Chuck Cappellin, combines talent from the firm's six offices throughout the country and will better meet the needs of clients as well as bring a greater focus to HGA's specialized industry expertise.
"HGA has been designing award-winning science and technology facilities for over 30 years," says HGA's Cappellin. "Our architects and engineers work with clients and help them find solutions to the specific challenges of their industries. Through this collaboration we develop facilities that are cost-effective, innovative and aligned with a client's values and mission."
The recently completed Minnesota Departments of Agriculture and Health office and laboratory buildings showcase the comprehensive design and laboratory experience that HGA's Science and Technology group brings to each project. The Department of Agriculture and Health laboratory facility is the first post 9/11 lab built in the country, while the co-location of the two agencies into one building puts Minnesota at the national forefront of public health and food safety.
HGA, a full-service architecture, engineering and planning firm, has an extensive portfolio that includes programming, planning and designing for science and technology facilities.
