Slawek Nadowski Promoted to Senior Associate of HGA Architects and Engineers
Los Angeles, MN - HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA) has promoted Slawek Nadowski, AIA, LEEDŽ AP, to senior associate. Based in the Los Angeles office, he serves as a senior project architect for the firm's healthcare projects, converting designs into practical representations for the construction teams' use.
"Slawek thrives on the technical challenges documentation can present and is able to handily translate building codes into accurate construction drawings," said Michael Franklin Ross, FAIA, vice president of the firm's Los Angeles office. "His strong documentation skills help us to avoid change orders and keep projects on-budget. We are pleased to recognize his efforts with this promotion."
Nadowski has extensive experience with healthcare architecture in California. He is certified as a class-A hospital inspector through the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD), allowing him to inspect all construction phases, including architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical elements as a project's inspector of record.
With more than 20 years of architectural experience, Nadowski's project portfolio includes a cancer center expansion and gamma knife suite at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, an emergency department expansion and trauma/surgery renovation at Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, Calif.; and the north tower at Glendale Memorial Hospital in Glendale, Calif.
Nadowski holds a master's degree in architecture from Krakow Polytechnic in Krakow, Poland. He is a LEEDŽ Accredited Professional and a registered architect.
