HGA Hires Rebecca Sanders as Medical Planner

Minneapolis, MN - Rebecca Kleinbaum Sanders has joined HGA Architects and Engineers as a senior associate and medical planner in the firm's Minneapolis office. With expertise in planning, project management and design, Sanders will work in the firm's highly successful Healthcare Practice Group primarily during the planning and programming phases for a wide range of healthcare projects. "Rebecca is an experienced healthcare planner and designer focused on creating quality solutions for clients," says Gary Nyberg, RA, vice president and principal with HGA. "Her experience will prove a strong fit with HGA. We are happy to have her on our team." Before joining HGA, Sanders was with NBBJ in Columbus, Ohio, from 1996 to 2007, where she was a senior associate and healthcare architect for the Healthcare Studio. Sanders worked on a number of diverse healthcare projects as medical planner, project architect and project manager, including Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation Clinical Cancer Center, Chicago, IL; Miami Valley South Health Center, Centerville, OH; and the Moffitt Cancer Center %26 Research Institute, Tampa, FL. "I work with the client to help meet their goals and objectives," Sanders says. "My goal is to create the best environment for all end users." Sanders has a Master of Architecture from Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina, with a focus on healthcare architecture. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a registered architect in the State of Ohio, and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
