HGA Architects and Engineers Hires Medical Planner
Minneapolis, MN - David Willer, AIA, LEED AP has joined the Minneapolis, Minnesota office of HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA), a full-service architecture, engineering and planning firm.
Serving as associate vice president and medical planner, Willer joins the firm with over 30 years of experience in healthcare programming, master planning and facility planning. His career has been devoted to healthcare and his experience includes all facets of the built environment. He has worked on numerous notable projects including the one million-square foot Gonda Building at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota; the University of Maryland Medical Systems critical care unit; and the 100,000-square foot new facility for TRIA Orthopaedic Center, in Bloomington, Minnesota.
"Dave brings a wealth of master planning and medical planning to our national practice," said Gary Nyberg, managing principal in the firm's Minneapolis office. "His collaborative style and creative problem solving make him a welcome addition to our firm."
Prior to joining HGA, Willer served as medical planner for Perkins %26 Will in Minneapolis. Additional experience includes serving as medical planner for Ellerbe Becket in Minneapolis and HOK in St. Louis.
Willer received his bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1974. He is a registered architect in the state of Missouri and a LEED-certified professional.
