HGA Welcomes Josh Stowers as Principal in Minneapolis Office

HGA welcomes Josh Stowers, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, as Associate Vice President and Principal in the Minneapolis office. He will collaboratively lead business development opportunities, marketing strategies, client relations and new projects for the Public | Corporate Practice Group.

“Josh adds diverse expertise and insight to our team,” said Winfield Roney, AIA, Vice President and Corporate Market Sector Leader. “He has a true passion for exploring design solutions that inspire companies to thrive. His successful project experience—from multi-building corporate campuses to individual workplaces—aligns well with our market focus and commitment to client service. We are happy to welcome Josh as we continue to expand our national resources in workplace design and strategy.”

Stowers has more than 15 years of project leadership and design experience focused on corporate and commercial architecture for such leading companies as 3M, Honeywell, Urban Outfitters, and Aimia. His expertise includes project management, design, workplace strategy, sustainability, and adaptive re-use.

“I promote a collaborative dialogue with clients to discover what makes their business successful so that I can design workspaces that meet their strategic goals,” Stowers said. “I am excited to join the dedicated team at HGA; they share the same values for creating impactful design that leads clients and their communities forward.”

Before joining HGA, Stowers was a Principal with Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle (MSR) in Minneapolis, where he led project teams for the firm’s market base in corporate, higher education, and community work.

Stowers speaks regularly at national conferences, including most recently Mid-Atlantic SCUP, where he discussed how corporate campuses can serve as models for university campus planning; and CoreNet Global Summit in Chicago, where he co-presented on Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).

Stowers has a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Minnesota.

He is Immediate Past-President of CoreNet Global Midwest Chapter, and is recipient of Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award and Minnesota Business Magazine (Real) Power 50 Award.
