Electrophysiology Lab

The new Electrophysiology (EP) Lab at Bumrungrad International Hospital is a biplane angiography suite, providing both traditional Cath and EP lab functionalities within an existing confined space. HGA worked with a world-class physician, Siemens representatives, and key Bumrungrad stakeholders to plan, design, and construct this highly efficient and technical space within six months.

The three-room department houses the lab, space for future second lab, and a conference room, which is used for observation, telemedicine and teaching purposes. Efficiencies were reviewed for operational improvements as well as space utilization. Additional studies were completed to understand and mitigate the impact with the adjacent surgery department.
